Commemorating Juneteenth 2021
June 19, or Juneteenth, celebrates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. Originating in Texas, Juneteenth is celebrated across the U.S. and as of June 17, 2021, has officially been designated a Federal holiday.
